Garret and Tball

Garret has been playing tball again, this is his first time to be in Little League. They are called the River Dogs. Todd & his papa Ken are his coaches again. He is an awesome player & is one of the best on the team. He really seems to enjoy playing. These pics are from opening day back in March.

Todd's new Peterbilt Trucks

These are the newest additions to Trio Aggregate Haulers. They now have 4 trucks & trailers. Todd was born in to a trucking family, but he isn't a trucker, he doesn't have a CDL either, but now he owns some. These trucks are Russ's, the other 2 are Garret's, and you can bet that if my boys see them on the road they know it is their truck! Brainwashing starts at a young age in this family!

Finally, some pictures of the new house!

This is the before picture.
This is the after picture!
This is my entryway chandelier, I found it at Lamps Plus, I went on their website & it seriously was the first one I saw, I loved it! We ended up buying 2 of them, 1 for the entry & 1 for the family room because we have like 20 ft ceilings. We still haven't finished the moulding around the front door, we have to put a window in above the door because on the outside above the door is a big empty framed in square for a window. That was on Todd's list, looks like I'm going to have to take charge to get it done!

Our View

This is the beautiful view right off our back porch. We get to look at the mountains & the green hayfields all the time.

Field Trip to the Zoo

Garret had his preschool field trip to the Wildlife World Zoo. Grandma Skeet came with us & we had a pretty good time. I had debated on whether to even go because last year Garret was such a pain & he didn't enjoy it at all & just wanted to leave. I finally decided to go ahead & take him. Again he didn't enjoy himself, he doesn't think animals are cool I guess, he suffered through! On the other hand Russ really seemed to like it, so at least it wasn't a total waste! We ate lunch at the restaurant there, we were able to sit out on the patio & watch the stinky flamingos. All in all it was a good day. Little miss Laynee was asleep for most of the trip, a great way for a baby to spend the day at the zoo!

Carnie time @ the fair

We always spend Friday riding rides & letting the kids do all the carnival stuff. This is my least favorite day because of the nasty germ factor, but the kids love it. This year wasn't so bad though. Brennen spent time with us & the little boys riding rides. He is a big chicken for the big rides so I think hanging with us was his excuse to not have to look lame to his friends for not riding the big stuff! Garret & Russ had a great time. Mak was with her friends and ended up getting sick & had to go back to the trailer to lay down. She went back out after feeling better & later that evening she got sick again & puked, however this didn't stop her from riding more rides, crazy girl!

Garret & Russ Bull Riding

We walked by this mechanical bull daily & the boys were always begging to ride it so finally Todd let them. Garret almost chickened out though. Russ was all about it, he climbed up on it & went to town. Once Garret seen that Russ was doing it & wasn't scared he decided to step it up & not be a chicken so he got on it. I'm thinking Russ may be the little bull rider Todd has always wanted!
